What is hangarkeepers liability insurance?
Hangarkeepers liability covers damage to customers' aircraft while they are in your care, custody or control, for example in your hangar, on your ramp or being towed or serviced. A general liability policy usually excludes that property, so FBOs, repair shops and hangar operators carry hangarkeepers coverage separately.
What insurance does an FBO need?
An FBO program usually combines airport premises liability, products and completed operations liability for fueling and maintenance work, hangarkeepers liability, and property coverage for buildings, equipment and tools. Owned aircraft and vehicles are covered separately.
How are flight schools insured?
Flight schools typically need hull and liability coverage on the training fleet written for instruction and rental use, with pilot requirements that fit student and renter pilots, plus premises liability for the school itself.
What insurance does a marina need?
Marinas usually carry marina operators legal liability for customers' boats in their care, premises liability for docks and slips, coverage for fuel sales, and property coverage for buildings, docks and equipment. Boat dealers add coverage for inventory and demonstration use.
